About the shop:
Welcome to TCBShop.com, the online store for Traverse City Bass Guide Service. Located in Traverse City, Michigan, we are primarily a smallmouth bass fishing guide service, but we are now pleased to offer our apparel, coffee and other accessories for purchase on our online shop.

These are the products that we use on a daily basis for the guide service. Whether it’s a long sleeve t-shirt, a sun buff for sun protection on the water, a sweatshirt or a stainless travel mug, we’ve used all of these products, and are proud to finally offer them for sale.

Our Traverse City Bass blend of coffee is offered to each guest to begin the day, and has garnered quite a bit of local press. This coffee was even featured in a brief editorial in Traverse Magazine! It’s 100% Certified Organic, 100% Certified Fair Trade, and locally roasted to our custom specifications.

About the Guide Service:
My passion is being out on the water, and I can't think of a better place to be than Northern Michigan's Traverse City area. The gin clear waters surrounding the Traverse area not only include two expansive bays off of Lake Michigan, but many inland lakes as well. Known primarily for its salmon and blue-ribbon trout fishing, these waters are also home to trophy smallmouth bass. Walleye, whitefish, jumbo perch, largemouth bass and gigantic carp also swim in these waters.

The fishing that I offer is all done with artificial lures and flies, and is all done out of a 2009 Ranger bass boat. At Traverse City Bass, I try my best to stay on top of the latest bass tournament techniques, giving us the edge needed to fool these clear-water bronzebacks. For fly anglers seeking some of the most exciting sight fishing opportunities in freshwater, come spend a day chasing the giant carp that cruise the flats.

The fishery here is so prolific the Traverse City area has been the focus of many television shows and numerous magazine articles. In fact, Traverse City was ranked as the 3rd best fishing town in the country (Field & Stream; Feb.2008) and in 2005, Fly Rod & Reel magazine listed Traverse as one of its "12 Top Fly-Fishing Retirement Towns."
